It looks like I don't have the necessary rights to sign the document. What can I do?
Note: You can only sign from within OneDrive if you're a Skribble Business customer.
To sign a document from within OneDrive, you'll need the rights to download the document.
If you get an error message while signing, please ask the document owner to give you the necessary rights. Once this is done, you can try to sign the document again.This is how it works – a step-by-step guide for document owners:
- Right-click on the document
- Go to Manage access
- Click Share
- Enter the name or the e-mail address of the person you want to give download rights
- Turn off the Block download option and click Apply
