I can't sign. What can I do?
This can be due to two reasons:
- Error message: "Swisscom Signing Services could not identify you"
- Your profile is not ready for signing with QES
The above message appears when our identification partner Swisscom cannot successfully verify that you are really you. Usually, for one of the following reasons:
o You have changed your signature password.
o You have activated Mobile ID after you’ve verified your identity.
o You have a new SIM card, phone number, or mobile phone.
o Your identity card or passport, which you presented at the time of identification, has expired.
In none of these cases can Swisscom guarantee that the same person is in possession of the mobile phone that was identified by the ID agent during identification. For security reasons, you'll need to be identified again. Learn more about verifying your identity here.
