Set up signing from MS Teams

With the Skribble MS Teams plug-in, companies, departments, and teams can sign and get documents signed directly from their favourite tool.

Note: Signing from MS Teams is available for customers in the Pro, Scale or Enterprise plans.  If you haven’t set up Skribble for your company yet, check this guide.

If you already use Microsoft Teams and Skribble, you can connect both in just a few easy steps.

Before doing so you need to have:

  • Admin access to Microsoft Teams

  • Skribble API credentials (username and one API key). If you don't have an API key yet, ask here

Tip! We recommend that your Teams admin carries out the setup of the plug-in as Skribble admins might not have the necessary rights to finish the setup.

Connect Skribble with MS Teams in a few steps:

  • Get the plug-in from Microsoft AppSource: click here
  • Click Get it now and follow the instructions
  • Click Let’s get started if you’re ready
  • Log in with your Microsoft admin account
  • Click Accept if you agree
  • Enter the Skribble API credentials (username and API key) and click Next to proceed
  • Specify default legal weight and jurisdiction and click on Next

Just a few steps left and you’re done:

  • Download the Skribble Electronic Signature plug-in
  • Click on the Teams App Catalog link to be redirected to the Manage apps section
  • Click on Upload new app and click Upload again and select the zip folder of the plug-in you just downloaded.

Congratulations: you’ve connected MS Teams with Skribble!

Tip! You can limit the access to the application: for more information on user access control, click here.

Do you want to enable the MS Teams plug-in for specific teams? Then follow these steps:

  • The application Skribble Electronic Signature can be found under Built for your org
    • Click on Add in Skribble Electronic Signature
    • Then click the arrow down button and click Add to a team
    • Enter the team where you want to add Skribble Electronic Signature and then finish with Set up a bot

Now you can navigate to that team and verify that it works.
